CLIFFS:

- Says he's excited to have the first rematch of his career, that Lil Nog was his first big fight and he's looking forward to see how much he has grown since

- After the Rumble fight he started to think : let's just go out there and have fun, take risks, don't worry about a winning streak or stuff like this and he got a knockout, so he feels good with this kind of mentality

- he didn't plan to fight out his contract and go free agent. Just happened like that, so he said well let's fight it out, test the water and we'll see

- says he doesn't necessary want to leave the ufc, but they made him an offer and it wasn't anything substantial so he'll fight nogueira and see where he goes from here

Bader is a good fighter, but he'll never be a great one..

Maybe he can find some success in Bellator. Wish him the best..

Hope he puts on a good showing this weekend and gets paid what he's worth. He's not a fan favorite but the fact that Phil Davis is getting paid more money than him despite Bader beating him not too long ago just because Bader's under ReebokFC is shameful.

Well they're obviously not giving him a title shot. They passed over him when he was on a 5 fight streak and gave the shot so Gustaffson coming off a KO loss and an injury pull out.
He'd better do all he can to up his value in this fight. A loss would drop his value on the open market.

Good riddance. Bader has been the same fighter since forever, a wrestler with mediocre striking. The guy didn't evolve at all. The LHW is shit right now though.

Especially when Phil isn't anymore exciting than Bader

And yeah screw the reebok deal

Good for him, he's been around long enough and maybe a change of scene would be good fir him this far through his career.

His striking has gotten way better in the past couple years or so. Outstruck Rashad in all forms of striking even got some nice body kicks in and outside of getting dropped against Latifi he was tuning him up before the head kick from hell that probably ended Latifi's night.

His defense could always use some work but make no mistakes about it, he's improved.

I wonder if Rizin is a possibility for him? Bader is a bull of a wrestler. A guy like him dropping knees on the ground is a nasty thought.

Realistically though, the UFC will prob re-sign him. If not, rematch Davis for the title in Bellator. His last KO was BRUTAL so I hope he keeps up that style.

Good for him. I'm all for it, not just athletes but people in general doing what's best for them and their families. Bader took the route many athletes should which is complete your contract, be quiet about it and then test the waters. I'm tired of athletes bitching and moaning when their contracts are almost up. Kudos to Bader.

Go get the Tito rematch.

LHW and HW are getting depressing shallow. the only fights left to make in 2 years will all be rematches with guys near 40.

I dont think a win or a loss will have a huge impact. The UFCs offer wont be high and bellator will try to get him nonetheless.

Would be cool to see him in Rizin, Bader Vs Jiri would be interesting.

Well, he got outstruck by Latifi before the finish. I think he realizes it's best for him now to take a step down in competition.

He loses against the Lil Nog then .... the Free Market Curse is for real!
