Pretty interesting that the Ruble is the worlds best performing currency this year. I was told in the conflict thread that there was literally no way this could happen, and to think anything other than the ruble will be worthless by now and Russia would have lost by now makes someone a Putin supporter.

@Da Speeit Thoughts? Especially now that we are sending another 40 billion, making it over 50 billion we are now giving Ukraine that they will never have to give back?

It is crazy to botch anything worse than the Afghan withdrawal.. but the approach to this conflict seems to be even worse in terms of geo-political blunders.

Also more European countries opening accounts to buy gas in rubles.

Aren't interest rates in Russia almost 20%?

That's kind of "How to artificially prop up a currency 101" isn't it?

People in the US are freaking out because rates aren't at zero anymore like they have been for a long ass time. Yet we're supposed to ignore Russia's far more obvious and desperate currency manipulation?

I mean...really?

War is good for the economy, isn't it? The logical next step for Brandon's handlers would be a healthy and perpetual war, maybe a war on "disinformation" and those pesky ruskies who are always trying to get us with lies!

I dunno, it is comparing the international buying power of the various currencies.. moreover you see other countries opening up accounts to trade in the ruble.. I don't think that is simple currency manipulation, it is using other countries needs to their advantage. Seems like a solid way to increase the value of a currency, rather than manipulation.

Whatever you say, comrade. Whatever you say lol

Russian economy go BRRRRRTTTT!

isn't the US economy now shrinking?

You should take out a second mortgage, max out all your cards and buy as much Rubles as you can. Sounds like a foolproof plan.

Report back to us at the end of the year.
Our Economy isn't doing better. But i suppose we can handle it right? according to Biden admin that is.

I'm able cos I don't need natural gas.
The sooner we will get gazprom valves closed, the better for us in long term.
Sadly Putin didn't had closed fuckin gazprom valves.
For drug addicts.

We're still a part of a global market and not at the mercy of a closed system. Nevermind I can't think of a time when the average Canadian had it as bad as the average Russian, as a point of reference.

Lol, you can tell the butt hurt with some of these posters is strong. When the Ukraine conflict started it was the same crew being like, "hahaha this gonna be over in a couple weeks cause there are a few videos of tractors towing tanks. Russia will be driven out of eastern Ukraine and Crimea, Russia gonna have riots in the street soon". Only to see now over 2 months later, the Ruble is out performing the dollar and now we are sending tens of billions in military aide cause it is a prolonged conflict.

Okay, are you going to exchange all of your Benjamins for Lenins? walk the fucking walk TS, don't be a fucking bitch ass, baiting pussy.

so angry sweet prince.

lol seriously? the grand biden admin just annocuened to cancel both oil and gas leases in three states.

The sooner we will get gazprom valves closed, the better for us in long term.
Better for us? you mean better for the Politician pockets.

The LNG gas and oil supplies arent going to be a long term solution.

the better for us in long term.
Like how great and better the sanctions had been going for us and in Europe right? go on..

Do some of those posters realize that once Russians are in Eastern Ukraine they arent likely to withdraw?

Russia gonna have riots in the street soon
I wonder when will the riots or protests start happening in Europe over the food and inflation?

Very good.
I don't need nor natural gas nor LNG.
Life is brutal and it should be natual selection like in Norse times.
Nothing had changed.
Ppl had been warned that fuel prices will rise. 15 years ago.
Unlike dream brainwashing 2006-2007_; gold is useless, buy mortgage with loan ASAP.

$40 Billion is a lot of money. It's enough to solve world hunger many times over, or at least it was several months ago when they wanted Elon Musk to do it himself, but now that it's going to defense contractors and getting laundered through corrupt foreign governments, the UN doesn't seem too worried about world hunger anymore.

I think we would be and should be more concerned about our sleeves than Russia or Russians.
If Europe doesn't want its Gas or Oil they are still able to sell it to others.

The US and some in the Biden admin are clearly trying to turn Russia into another Cuba, with a embargo. That is not going to work this isnt the same Russia from 20 years that was economically bad.

This can't be, I was told months ago it would be worth notta.

It is like with so many #blueAnon narratives. The truth is the complete opposite, or at least greatly different than what these people believe and buy into for narratives.

Just bring yourself back 2 months ago. At the two narratives people were posting.

One was the Ruble would be crushed by now, Russia military collapsed with no ammunition or rations at this point.

The other was that some don't think it will be that simple, and this will likely be a prolonged conflict, where Russia will likely obtain full control of the Eastern land bridge to Crimea and the logner this goes on, the more it will hurt the global economy.

Given those two narratives, one is already proven to be COMPLETELY wrong, considering Russia is dug in strong in Eastern Ukraine and the ruble is not crashed yet. Regardless of what happens going forward, that first narrative is already completely wrong and anyone who believed it was foolish.

These people are so hostile and unable to discuss anything because discussing this now would first be them admitting to themselves that they were 100% wrong two months ago. Lol, it is amazing to see their cognitive dissonance lash out in such ways, where it be personal attacks or complete deflections
