both of them wasting their time in 125Rose is wasting her time at flyweight. Go back to 115 and beat Weili again.
She could probably go down and win one fight and be right back in a title shot. Seems there’s more of a log jam at 125 right now, not sure I get the thinking here.Rose is wasting her time at flyweight. Go back to 115 and beat Weili again.
Ribas had no cardio at 115. Outside of the Barber fight she's looked far more durable and effective at 125.both of them wasting their time in 125
Not going anywhere I’m afraid. Lower production costs, less staff needed, and don’t have to worry about selling tickets so can put cheaper talent on it. All the while fulfilling their contractual obligations for events. It’s a no brainer for them.2024 and still having fights at that souless warehouse.
This pic should be added to the hair transplant thread

I think the cut was getting too difficult. She could probably go down and win one fight and be right back in a title shot. Seems there’s more of a log jam at 125 right now, not sure I get the thinking here.
Rose should win comfortably but Ribas can make this competitive and grimy if she is willing to mix up her striking with her grappling some basic 1,2's behind some basic takedown attempts might be enough to take Rose mentally out of the fight or even break Rose's rhythm. Ribas seems to hold her own grappling back like in the Chook fight in fear of gassing out so I'm thinking she does the same here if she doesn't hit easy takedowns early since Rose has solid TDD now.
Ribas probably holds her own on the feet early better than expected since Rose isn't as physical as Barber or Rodriguez and Ribas is a good athlete but I do expect after a close 1st round with Rose's jab, angles and distance control she should be in complete control by round 2 since she will have had time to adapt the the athleticism of Ribas' striking game.

I don’t mind them. I think if they rebranded them as a third tier event people would mind them less. But they’re not going to admit it’s a lesser product.I like the Apex. Sometimes the crowds will ruin fights, plus I can hear the fighters. Kevin Holland talking to his opponents is always hilarious. The quality of the cards can be horrendous though.
Why the fuck would Ribas go back to 125? And Rose staying there is a little odd, too.
Ribas at number 9 in both divisions. And Rose not ranked in either division.
Bizarre. If Rose wins she gets slotted at number 9 in FLW. Just a matchup that doesn’t make sense in either division, imo.
