"I have mad respect for both guys, cause there were moments in the fight that both guys really impressed me. Now to Chimaev, everyone knew the first round
would look like that. Not down to the details such as the crucifix and him laying like 400 punches on his dome like that. But we knew he would get him down and
hold him there. OK, so what we didn't expect was Chimaev's ability to do that for 25 minutes. That was mindblowing!"

"He's a man after my own heart, dude. Because he is the most pure build I've ever seen. He put all his stat points in wrestling, like it is so good to see. He was
getting inside, he was turning that corner, and I could see a lot of moments that, you know, what makes it hard to get up when he's controlling you like that is
that he gives you so much to think about. Same thing that happened to me against him. He's trying to peel a knee away, he's trying to get a hook in, he's got
the bodylock grips, he's fishing for arms, he's giving you little jabs in the mouth and that's constant! Giving you 4 - 6 different things to think about all whilst
sagging on you and just making you carry his weight."

"Like, it was impressive in the first round. You never see a crucifix getting held for that long. Not when you're versing a physical beast like Dricus. Physically,
Dricus is pretty big and a strong guy. You rarely see that level of control time, especially in that position. But to then be able to do it in rounds 2, 3 and 4?
When it's sweaty and you're starting to gas a bit, you know, his jiu-jitsu and wrestling is dead set that high level. Yeah, it is unbelievable, I think!"

"Now, there were tiny shots. I still don't wanna sit there for that amount of time and taking them. Even though everyone's been like 'oh, but they had no
power in them'. Yeah, but he took 500 of them! OK, you know what I mean? They start to add up, cause its knuckles on the skull, dude. It sucks!"

"When the ref stood them up. Terrible stand-up! Like, he just wanted to give Dricus a chance to throw bombs. Man, you can't do that. He has 22 minutes
of ground control in the match, and you stand him up there when he's at his most tired? To give a chance, like, you can't do that man! But not just once,
dude. Twice! And he even broke them up when he was on the wall, Chimaev's best position! That was terrible in my opinion."

"Anyone who says this was a boring fight is a casual, OK? No offense. I'm sorry, but you're a casual. Please don't unsubscribe, but man, if you're a fan
of the sport and you're not absolutely fascinated by Chimaev's ability to control who's as dogged and always fights out of things, like Dricus? If you're
not fascinated by such a one-sided domination, man, then you have to be a casual. Cause you never see this! Never! This level, at championship fights?
Unreal, man. We just saw someone get crucifixed for like 15 minutes! Like, how can you be a fan of the sport and not think 'Wow, this is crazy'?"

EPOc! Sorry, I meant "Epic!" Spending time with Dillashaw and friends gives you Lance Armstrong levels of cardio.

Then call me a casual. It's obvious Whittaker is building up the guy because he cranked his face to shit.
You're a filthy casual who's just wuppset your boy got rag-dolled like an amateur for 24 minutes ❄️😭❄️

Edit: OMG, this guy has 20+ posts today, crying about this fight...🤣

Couldn't agree more. And Khamzat was saying his team told him to go 5 because everybody said he would lose the last 3 rounds after he gasses out in the first two.

If he came back positive it would really shock the MMA world

That's the problem with these casuals. They can't appreciate the rarity of what they saw, they just go by their own instant gratification.

Self admittedly I like poatan for example, but If he got blanketed the whole fight I've learned not to blame the opponent. The onus is on him to become more well rounded.

It just so happens that chimaev is a specialist in that one area in which the octogon and ufc rules are catered towards. I hated it when shogun and wandy came over to the ufc but you either adapt or don't and lose.

There are bronco riders from the rodeo that were impressed at the way chimaev was able to keep that wild buck down lol

Dude, its going to be really hard to push the "Khamzat is boring" narrative. turn the anger to DDP being a wet doll for 20 minutes as blaming the guy who dominated for not letting his opponent win is just weird and Rob is right, that was amazing. Do a search, every other post was how this is not going to happen to DDP because he so big and strong. This is not a bad take, its true plus DDP has the best chin in the division and technically was the heavier guy. Also, the ref was clearly trying to give DDP a chance and DDP also was grabbing the fence. Everything people say about Khamzat is now confirmed as true, 5 rounds no weird issues and complete domination that I guess the champ did not think was true. Khamzat just destroyed DDP's whole brand of being the goat, having something in his mind that does not let him lose, willing to die for the win.. blah blah blah. Also, Arman now has a better case in his quest to fight Ilia. lol

Rob just saving face... cuz half of it's still healing.

This fight sucked.

Nobody is rewatching Lesnar vs Herring.

Nobody is rewatching Hamfat vs DDP...

Except wrestling coaches.

(And maybe this weirdos like mikey101 and hell toupee... The rest of us have taste)
