So glad I was able to see Dead & Company at The Sphere back in 2024, got to see Bobby play one last time.

Such sad news. I knew he had some health issues last summer but never really heard much about it. Truly an original.

What a life well lived. Joined the Dead when he was just 17 years old, then spent the next 60 years on the road playing music and making people happy.

Never went inside a Grateful Dead concert but went to several of them back in the early 90's just to hang out and party at the little hippie drug village that would spring up in the parking lot

That was a really wild scene for a young fresh faced teenage ole Pete to take in, especially the times they played the Oakland Coliseum for a whole week, that was the home for some of their legendary shows back in the 70's so the tent & RV city that surrounded the Coliseum that whole week would be frickin massive and full of all kinds of wild, debauched chaos

Got a few cherished memories from those events that still bring the laughs when we talk about them amongst old friends so thanks for making that happen, RIP
