I dont like the MLM play. But I think its fine for others with limited opportunities. I actually think there are opportunities for those with limited options to do MLMs. If you dont have money or an opportunity to get an education or learn a real career &
-You're naturally a slimy used cars salesman by nature
-You are a hustler by nature with the gift of gab
-If you're type A and can manipulate people into liking you
-Or if you are so rigid and determined & can deal with rejection to the point where it makes you just work harder....
Then you can succed at any type of sales job with a distribution network and real leads. Or its a great way to learn sales & grab some fleeting life changing money and parlay it into switching over to a real substainable career in financial sales, at a real traditional company. It also teaches young people the difference in pseudo corporate culture & real corporate culture. Or working for a place that actually provides real services & products vs smoke & mirrors.

The MLM model is flawed because it attracts "companies" that cant support themselves on their weak products or services alone. So they have to generate revenue through on-boarding & acquiring new "employees" through fees or paying them only on commission.
Ussually when a company is desperate or unethical enough to do this its a sign their value to the consumer ranges from undesirable to scammy. Any company that tries to provide crap services to the consumer or scam them will ussually do their employees the same exact way. Just good old fashioned common sense.

Most stable reputable traditional companies pay for your training and on-boarding cost because they trust their hiring process, their product/services, & their training. They also pay you something thats not strictly commission.

But his MLM insurance buisness that allegedly makes a vast majority of its money through new hires paying them fees is his old grift.
