Other than Ramon Dekkers, are there any other muay thai fighters anyone knows of that utilized the Right Hook frequently?

How about boxers?

could be considered an overhand

Heres one from golovkin - he likes to loop his right hands.

You will occasionally see Gokhan Saki in Kickboxing or i have seen Tony Bellew in Boxing do it off the hand trap/peel ( whichever you want to call it). Zambidis was good at using it against taller fighters. Already said but Golovkin is great at throwing as a half straight, looks to the opponent like a regular right hand until it loops around their guard.

good stuff guys, i easily overlooked mayweather. Tyson used it quite a bit too.

In boxing the first guy I think of is Marvin Hagler.
Just vicious in your face work with the hooks & uppercuts.

Probably my favorite example of all time is this:

McCallum not only fucking dismantles arguably the scariest p4p puncher in boxing, he does it with a ton of right hooks.

i find it kind of interesting the old timers used to say there was no such thing as a right hook, called it a sweeping right and frowned on it.

It probably caused a lot of bad habits in those that didn't know what they were doing. Similar to overhands in that those learning boxing will resort to those first without really knowing the mechanics or being willing to refine it and its a mess to try to "clean up" from there.

Yeah, I remember Sinister mentioning that the mechanics for the right hook are quite difficult and that you really need a coach to teach you.
