I prefer RTL, more direct, less technically polished but more raw in it's scope. Also, it doesn't have the prog influence so it has more rewatchability due to shorter songs.

Yea dude megadeth has good songs ...Metallica has good albums. It's not competitive between the 2 bands at all.

Rust is a damn great album, it has holy wars, hangar 18 and tornado of souls. I rated it as 9/10.

Indeed it does. But ride the lightning rocks from start to finish . And if rust is 9 out of 10 does that make lightning like a 25 out of 10 score ?

I give a 10 to RTL cause ktulu, escape, bells tolls, fade to black and creeping death. Not sure if it’s better than master of puppets but it is my most replayed one

It's better than puppets. It's metallicas best album. But justice and puppets are both also awesome. And just to be controversial...I like load better than the black album too

Rust in Peace is a perfect album, It has so many riffs, you could make 5 regular albums with it. It shouldnt be allowed for normal people to buy it. It should cost $2000 or you have to like to like...kill somebody, to show you deserve to have it.

Rust by far for me. It has no bad song on it. I will say I love the more raw sound of lightning though. It just takes me back to another time and I dig that a lot.
