Still just as fucking good as it was when I was a kid. What a testament to 80’s movie making that this 80’s B movie looks so much better than these 9-figure big budget movies stinking up the cinemas today. The costumes, sets, and special effects are out of this world.

If anyone hasn’t seen this classic, I highly recommend treating yourself to a nice Christmas gift and picking up a copy Vinegar Syndrome’s 4K restoration today. You won’t be disappointed.

I've seen the second one where he travels to modern times. I remember it being dumb, but fun.

Somehow I never saw the original.

Love that movie.
Good shit right there sir.

I bought the 4k as well. I didn't think it held up quite as good as I remembered as a kid but I still liked it a lot.

I also grabbed Red Sonja on 4k and I don't know why it gets so much hate. I honestly think it's a great little sword & sorcery movie.

Red Sonja was dope.
That chick was smokin.

She could be humped at will, cause she was a slave girl

I wanna kick my ass for not buying the Road House 4k vinegar syndrome release.

Videotaped it off of cable in the early 80s. Played it a lot back then during the height of my D&D teen years, both for character/campaign inspiration and pausing on certain shots of Tanya Roberts for spank purposes - was 14-16 and masterbating constantly, as all 14-16 year old boys do.

Red Sonja was crazy good. I watched it a ton when I was a kid.

That’s why I just laugh when I hear retards like Jennifer Lawrence say she was the first woman to ever lead an action movie. It’s just like, WTF? Are you retarded? The 80’s and 90’s were filled to the brim with female-led action movies. Hell, I just picked up Shout Factory’s Ninja III: The Domination led by that sexy short-haired bitch from Breakin’ and Breakin’ 2: the Electric Boogaloo.

Bought it when it first came out (pre-ordered) but only watched the UHD last month, it was great, especially for a UHD that doesn't use the original negative as a scan source (it uses the interpositive). The only part I didn't like was when one of the ferrets dies saving the Beastmaster, I was hoping he'd re-appear at the end (I haven't seen it in its' entirety since the 90's so I forgot about the death but I had a bad feeling throughout that one of the animals would die so part of me remembered). At least the ferrets had kids at the end. I think the ferret (Podo or was it Codo?) shows up in the sequel though so I guess he survived?

watched it in the theater like 10 times as a kid- what a classic- those things that digest you with their bat wing arms were gnarly
Fuck yeah they were. The fucking witches were disgusting too, and that neon glow in the dark blue liquid always freaked me out as a kid too, I don’t know why.

Beastmaster is just such a visual feast. I wish I could go back to the 80’s. Best time in history to be a kid.
