Eddie Bravo's new book came out (not in stores yet bt I preorederd back in April so I got mine yesterday) and I sat down and read it cover to cover in one big sitting.
If you are familiar with his Mastering the Rubber Guard book this will have a very similar feel to it.
The intro is a sad story of his childhood but very incitefull into who he is as a person. He admits to a lot of stuff that I would not be comfortable sharing but it is interesting to read.
The technique section of the book is broken into 6 major sections; twister side control, the truck, the monkey mount, the back, the sprawl and transitioning to the twister.
There is a lot more than I thought possible. His rubber guard is what gets noticed and it works very well, this may just be even better. He does a great job of breaking down his entire top game and shows if X doesn't work go to Y. It is done brillaintly. The pics are all in color and shown form a couple of angles.
The people at Victory Belt have raised the bar on instructional books. If you don't have a copy of this on order I suggest that you go to victorybelt.com and order one. While you're there pick up Mastering the Rubber Guard if you don't have that as well. By far the best isntructionals I have ever seen.
