Somewhat off-topic, and not yet worth making its own thread until officially announced -
I've said since RE3R was released a CV remake has the most potential to be an epic reimagining of the original, not just putting it in 3rd person and call it ready for release.
I haven't played RE8 and probably won't play Requiem until it's cheap, so those who have would be better to make a list of the huge improvements they could easily copy & paste into a CV remake.

Bought this and Nioh 3 together and no where near done with Nioh. Hoping to get to a good spot this weekend to give it a good break. Love me some Resident Evil. Put an ungodly amount of time into the RE4Remake.

Isn't Grace's default camera in 1st person? Feels like Capcom designed the game for her to be played that way and 3rd person for Leon. Kind of why I decided to go with the standard edition because I don't think I'll see much of her unless I do a second playthrough.
I actually ended up using that ten dollars to preorder the deluxe edition of Pragmata instead. I think the costumes fit in better with that world and the camera angle is perfect for seeing both characters at all times.

Agree with you on camera. I'm used to 1P from Village so will have to experiment. One thing I want is camera distance slider to free up my FOV. Nioh 3 (Team Ninja) does this and it's becoming more norm now. Hope Capcom on top of that.

Yeah I preordered a few weeks back. People online say never to preorder but I buy what I know I'll enjoy and reviews don't mean much to me. I also have Pragmata, Saros, and Marvel Tokon preordered already. Marathon could get a purchase if I like the beta. A lot to look forward to. I just hope I can avoid spoilers since Capcom is already warning people that they are out in the open.Gentlemen, just preordered. Very excited. Let’s get bloody.

Yeah, preorder for me is graded.
If the studio has long done right by me, it’s not a concern and rather show of support + practicality of having it queued and auto-downloaded because I can’t remember all these release dates.
If I’ve been burned by studio, day-2 buy or later, game state depending. Show me the game and I’ll show you the money, basically.
Requiem and Marathon are good examples for me. Very interested in Marathon but not giving a cent until I see launch state and changes. Capcom has been on absolute Derrick Lewis-grade fire last couple years and am coming off the time of my life in Village so they got my money.
