hey guys, i'm thinking about picking up a pair of used leather focus mitts from a local studio but one of them has a small tear on the front. is there any way to (cheaply) repair these types of damages?

any help is appreciated. if there isnt a very cost effective way to repair it, i may just pick them up anyway- they're only $20 and i can probably just ghetto repair it with duct tape :D

$20 is to much for those beat up pads. You can pick up brand new ones for a few dollars more.

yikes, thanks for the suggestion. any in particular? Im only interested bc they're only $20, I dont want to spend too much on brand new ones.

There are a ton on sale at Combatsports.com and Ringside.com. They're both reputable brands, so even if they're synthetic or real leather, they should last you a little longer...

Titleboxing.com has great ones. I got one as a gift from my students when I was an apprentice trainer. Great stuff here for trainers man!
