A few highlight reel wins against Leben and Griffin doesn't make you the GOAT.

Look at his record, although he went on a long run of wins, the division was piss poor. His best win is what? post pride Hendo or maybe Chael.

As soon as a little talent entered the division he lost.

Dana calls him the GOAT a hundred times a day for years and nobody questions it.
 
You’re looking at his competition through the lense of hindsight. He beat the best guys in that division at the time, it wasn’t weak he was just that good. Jones and GSP did the same to their divisions. And he didn’t just beat guys, he embarrassed them. That includes Forrest who was the champion a weight class higher one fight prior. Sure he had some stinkers in there, but overall winning 16 straight fights in the UFC with 10 title defenses is impressive and worthy of praise.

His division wasn't the strongest, but for the most part, he absolutely outclassed his opponents.

Imo he's not the GOAT, but it's (in my eyes) not exactly controversial to say he is, because the best part of his career was pre USADA and being on PEDs during that time isn't as big of a deal as it is post USADA, plus a lot of guys he fought are confirmed PED users as well.

So pathetic UFC fans are. In a sport were its virtually almost impossible to have a true goat due to so many variables...Anderson Silva clearly stands out tiers above the rest.

What do crappy insecure fans like yourself do...u try to sh#t the one goat we have.

Why? Because you're some GSP or Fedor fanboy who can't accept the simple truth that Anderson Silva is light years better than your favorite fighter.
 
Cool bud.

He outclassed every MW (and some LHW's) in his era. Can't do any more than that. You can discredit any fighter's resume if you want. But Anderson is certainly one of the best we've ever seen.
