Does anyone here actually own the Fight Gear Master's Competition Headgear? If so, what are your thoughts? Also would you kindly post pictures both front and profile to illustrate the type of protection it provides?

Thanks in advance!

I have not personally seen it, but have heard good things about the shock absorption quality of the padding in the comments that I have read about it. The newest Ringside hardcopy catalog that just hit peoples mailboxes (Spring 2011) has back and front views, and photos of someone wearing it (front and side view) on page 12 in the "masters section", if that helps. Sorry that I could not be of more assistance.

Thanks ECS123, you've been more than helpful!

I'll keep an eye out for that catalog.

BTW what headgear do you use?

I was using the Fighting Sports Pro, but have been looking into the Winning FG2900, the Rival RHG30 Mexican Style, or the Fight Gear Deluxe Face Saver from Ringside. All of those look pretty decent.

I see that you are also proud owner of a pair of Winning 16oz gloves. I just checked out your review, they look awesome. How are they holding up?

^ Good. Well worth the money, if it is in your budget.
