Rodney is the immediate choice with all the best lines, yes. I think Murray and even Chevy make one have to pause for just a second to think though. I wouldn’t have a big argument for choosing either over him.

I love Christmas Vacation so much.

True, Eddie brings a shot of energy into the movie that it needs at that point. Chevy does a good job playing the dad who means well but is just barely holding on by a thread though and that ties everything together. I love all 4 of those movies, even Vegas Vacation
