Just watched NXT deadline. I thought both Iron Survivor matches exceeded expectations. I really liked how they were booked. Hopefully they don’t overuse the concept.

Dreamy Drew didnt show up last night but Im glad I went anyways cause the matches last night were really great, one of the best shows I been to in that building in a long time

There was two birthday parties there so the place was pretty packed with first timers, little kids and several Milfs

Several times during the show I had to do my duty and boo or cheer loudly because all these mild mannered parents werent sure how to react to what they were seeing so I had to lead them along

Darkfox Olumide was there and I am really high on this guy, hes gonna be in the big time soon, so I was pleasantly surprised to get to see him live again cause he wasnt announced ahead of time

Card was solid from the first match on, the heels were playing it up for the birthday parties, including going over and stealing their pizza and soda and taking it to the locker room, they never brought it back out either so Im sure the boys grubbed it down quick lol

Darkfox lost his match when that asshole Llama Jack smeared a birthday cupcake in his face and he was blinded by pink frosting

Main event was little 5 foot tall masked Leon Ikuza vs the longtime Bay Area villain Boyce LeGrande, who made his surprise return and attacked Leon at the end of the show two weeks ago

Leon demanded a no DQ I quit match and put up his East Bay championship to get Boyce to agree

I was booing Boyce cause hes the bad guy but I secretly wanted him to win cause I hate Leon Ikuza

The match was every bit as wild and chaotic as I hoped it would be, brawling in and out of the ring and all over the building, at one point they were rolling around on the ground in front of the birthday crowd and Leon grabbed Boyces arms and told the 5 year old birthday boy to chop his chest, birthday boy surprised everyone by walking right up and kicking Boyce square in the nuts LOL

Boyce then started taking apart the ring, completely disconnecting the bottom rope from all 4 ring posts and using it to whip Leon, who still refused to quit

While Boyce was taking appart the ring, one of the heavy steel hooks that connect the ropes to the posts went flying into the crowd and slammed into a Milf in tthe front row, I think it hit her really hard cause she was crying, Boyce had to break character a little bit and go check on her and apologize

He checked on her a few times after that, I think he was trying to pitch a little woo also

Finally, Boyce set Leon on the ring steps and used the ring rope to tie him to the ring post, with Leons arms trapped he only had two choices, either let Boyce remove his mask and reveal his secret identity to the world or utter the words I quit and surrender the match and his highly coveted EBPW championship belt

He chose the second one which means were heading into 2023 with a new EBPW champion!

I like Boyce as a heel so I look forward to the new season!

I didnt watch Strange World I watched The Menu instead, its really good, I think you would like it, its about a famous chef who invites a bunch of rich assholes to his private island restaurant for a wonderful special fancy dinner, until things take a dark turn...

I also watched a movie called Violent Night which I know you would love, Santa gets fed up and goes on a murder spree for the ages, its a gore fest dark comedy, only thing is the dad in the movie literally looks EXACTLY LIKE YOU

Several times during the movie, I just sat there staring at him, amazed at how much he looked exactly like my pal Lake, it was a bit disturbing
