Yeah they're sick. I like the early powerviolence bands or whatever ya wanna call em. It's raw energy.Infest is great. great live too

i like Spam if its fried or its made into Musubi, actually. bit of a guilty pleasure. but if i put it on a sandwich its anything but Rye bread. i buy it maybe 2 times a year because yeesh thats a lot of salt and fat.Yeah they're sick. I've never had it and indeed it does sound gross. It's just a play on the Bukowski novel Ham On Rye.
Yeah I'm in the same boat. Fried a few times a year is great.i like Spam if its fried or its made into Musubi, actually. bit of a guilty pleasure. but if i put it on a sandwich its anything but Rye bread. i buy it maybe 2 times a year because yeesh thats a lot of salt and fat.
im a big grindcore fan and those early "powerviolence" bands were basically grindcore without the metal. Infest, Spazz, Neanderthal, Crossed Out - all good shit.
i was never into The Locust very much honestly, but i had a bunch of friends who were.Yeah I'm in the same boat. Fried a few times a year is great.
I liked all those bands growing up myself. Saw Swing Kids and The Locust back in the mid 90s and kinda followed it pretty hard up until the end of Discordance Axis and kinda grew out of it. But still love all the punk/hardcore/metal I grew up on.
Yeah I had Gridlink and Burnt By The Suns first records. Thanks for the reminder. I should check out the other records I haven't heard.i was never into The Locust very much honestly, but i had a bunch of friends who were.
i love Discordance Axis' entire discography. if you havent heard Gridlink yet, theyre just as good and have a similarly excellent discography. Jon Chang is the vocalist. too bad they just broke up, again.
this might be as far as hardcore/crust punk can go without being considered grindcore
one of the few Discharge rip-offs that i feel actually added their own flavor too
shame the bassist passed away.
you cant go wrong with any Gridlink album, i think. but if i had to choose, i think my favorite of the 3 is Longhena.Yeah I had Gridlink and Burnt By The Suns first records. Thanks for the reminder. I should check out the other records I haven't heard.
