Yeah they're sick. I like the early powerviolence bands or whatever ya wanna call em. It's raw energy.

I've never had it and indeed it does sound gross. It's just a play on the Bukowski novel Ham On Rye.

i like Spam if its fried or its made into Musubi, actually. bit of a guilty pleasure. but if i put it on a sandwich its anything but Rye bread. i buy it maybe 2 times a year because yeesh thats a lot of salt and fat.

im a big grindcore fan and those early "powerviolence" bands were basically grindcore without the metal. Infest, Spazz, Neanderthal, Crossed Out - all good shit.

I liked all those bands growing up myself. Saw Swing Kids and The Locust back in the mid 90s and kinda followed it pretty hard up until the end of Discordance Axis and kinda grew out of it. But still love all the punk/hardcore/metal I grew up on.

you cant go wrong with any Gridlink album, i think. but if i had to choose, i think my favorite of the 3 is Longhena.
Amber Grey, the first album, is my favorite of all of them.
