Publix bread is too hard. At least, that's been my experience.

There's not many to choose from in Canada. Five years ago I went down to Vegas with the Mrs. and we really liked this place called "Earl of Sandwich"

I literally bought 2 publix subs this morning... and yesterday... and like 4 other times the past week, lol.

I eat them all the time.

Jersey Mike's is pretty good too but we don't have one here.

They're certainly better than subway but that's just because subway is about as scaled down as a made to order sandwich shop can be. Most deli's in the north-east US put sandwich shop chains to shame but they don't really exist in the south-east.

Publix and firehouse are some of your best choices if you're in the south-east US.

only gripe with publix is, multiple times that i've shopped at one of their locations, they tag one extra dollar on to my bill for no reason. like if i add up all my items and the tax, the total at the bottom will be that plus a dollar. happened like 3 times, and obviously its coded into their software

The thing bout Subway that really grinds my gears is that they have an ostensibly horrible business model if life were fair, but it's not and they are in fact wildly successful. Even Jared's fall from grace didn't slow them down.

What the fuck is Publix? Subway isn't that great, is good in a pinch but there are better sandwiches out there.
