Mid-South is widely credited for bringing the episodic television format that we see in today's pro wrestling. Back then, it was normally 'x, y , z' wrestler on today's show plus the house show interviews to promote the big show that month.

World Class improved production values through the six-camera set up providing a different direction in showcasing the pro wrestling product on TV.

What promotions brought innovation to pro-wrestling and change it for better or worse? What concepts did that bring that is responsible for how the product is viewed today compare to yesteryear.

As much as I dislike ECW they have to be credited with innovating rasslin in the 90's and bringing about the Attitude Era

Not Really

ECW arguably saved North American rasslin.

ROH was innovative in their use of a code of honor and helped bring a more realistic style to North American audiences.
