Slightly past prime (post Cain beatings 2x) JDS already beat prime Stipe.

He'd beat Ngannou by having more technical striking, great cardio, and an iron chin.

Gane is his toughest fight. Would've loved to see those two go toe to toe standing. He'd probably work a lot on his takedowns training for Gane knowing how bad his TDD was against Ngannou.

I’m not 100% convinced he doesn’t beat Ngannou. JDS had granite for a chin and I don’t remember him gassing. I think he could wear Francis down and finish him, but ofcourse you have to favor Ngannou

JDS wins aren't all that great

Blaydes was 0-6 on takedown attempts against a completely washed, old, fat, slow, stiff, sloppy, glass chin JDS before he took advantage of his shot chin.

Prime JDS with his elite TDD and chin stiffens him.

I think Gane would be his most difficult match up. Obviously Ngannou could catch him but prime JDS was very quick on his feet and would outcardio him in the later rounds.

Yup, that’s why I put it in brackets. Francis has a great chin too though and JDS didn’t really respond well to pressure. Francis might be a pretty bad matchup for him. Hard to say
