How you think this fight would go? I'm still leaning towards khabib but Frankie was a beast back then with endless gas tank and great wrestling and warrior heart
useless youUseless thread
Overall better MMA wrestling but Gaethje has better credentials and Tibau is a good wrestler in his own right and twice the size of Frankie.Honestly, Frankie probably has better wrestling than anybody Khabib has faced.
Love Frankie. but he's too small to give Khabib any trouble. Khabib probably by decision
Yeah the guy is a BW, how's he supposed to deal with Khabib who is a big LW? Frankie does best when he can mix up his wrestling and kickboxing but if he ties up with Khabib he's getting smashed. Plus if Khabib can walk through Gaethje's strikes what is Frankie supposed to do?I love Frankie but Khabib has threw around a lot heavier dudes than Frankie.
Frankie also doesn't have striking as good as Khabib's last 3 wins either.
I don't see how Frankie could win.
That's an interesting match. How do you generally see it going? If they fought ten times I could actually see Alvarez taking a decision once, maybe even twice.I think Alvarez would be a tougher match up for Khabib. He has a similar style to Frankie in that he has good lateral movement and feints but he doesn't need ti integrate his wrestling to have success on the feet like Frankie, is bigger, and has more power.
Of course I think Khabib still wins but thing is Alvarez tends to lose to guys who can crack him hard like Conor or Dustin and that's not really Khabib's style. Alvarez rarely gets outgrappled or wrestlefucked, I think the last time he lost to a grappler was when Aoki subbed him all those years ago and that was a really green Alvarez and a completely different grappler when compared to Khabib.
Yeah I think that's a fair assessment. If Alvarez wins it'd be by circling a lot and darting in and out with one or two punches and then moving away while avoiding return fire from Khabib. If Khabib has one weakness it's that he's not good at cutting the cage. Actually he looked better at it against Gaethje when compared to his fight with Barboza where he just straight ran after Barboza. Against Gaethje he cut a little, cut a little, then got antsy and chased. Can't do that against Alvarez, too good at lateral movement and staying light on his feet. That's an interesting match. How do you generally see it going? If they fought ten times I could actually see Alvarez taking a decision once, maybe even twice.
