Man, I am pretty bummed about Strickland losing. Because he's the most refreshing champion we've had in a long time. I guess I wanted to see him keep on talking and just sort of see what he would say next. Maybe because I really liked how he's reminding America what it means to be his own man and not afraid to say what's on his mind. There's so many people afraid to stand up or talk about what they really believe in. And now that he's not champion any more, it's just a little bit different.

Dana was never my friend but he was right when he said Strickland won the fight. And he really was sort of robbed. DDP didn't do enough to win the fight. He fought a good fight but it wasn't enough especially as the challenger. Strickland inflicted massive damage.

Don't be bummed homie!

This was a Forrest Griffin-esque title win for DDP. Contentious result and even if one thinks that DDP won, it was in no way definitive.
I'm okay with the result and thought it could have gone either way.
This is actually a time where an immediate rematch would make sense BUT given that Sean hadn't defended prior it seems like moving on to the next contender is the right thing to do.
Anyway, regarding Sean and his persona- I don't agree with everything he says but I do like that he speaks his mind. This is what freedom is about.

I think DeSean will be a 2 time world champ soon.

But also, I think he needs to be hungrier for the championship. He just likes fighting so much that I don't think his ultimate goal was the belt until he got the random title shot against izzy.

Imagine feeling some emotional attachment to 'Sean', a mentally disturbed bully who alternates between sounding like an edgy 14-year-old, crying in public and talking about how he wants to kill people.

Who says you can't keep listening to him talk? Do you only pay attention to people who have a belt around their waist?

Im more bummed Izzy lost to that bum

The way Izzy fought that fight, you would think Strickland was tieres above everyone in the division

Yet he just went 5 rounds with an average brawler and couldn't get anything going

Shame on Izzy

We actually need people that speak their mind in a way that isn't divisive. Sean is toxic to the title. There are a lot of fools that "speak their mind" in the way that Sean does, that called being obnoxious, and it isn't the kind of talk that is ever helpful.

So glad he lost. Alex will smash him again if they fight. Izzy may well beat him in the rematch.

You guys actually paid $80 for that? Empathy. You could have gotten a few new pairs of jeans.
