Possibly counterfeit mcdonald's coupons on ebay...

So I was looking on ebay and found that a TON of people are selling these mcdonalds coupons:

Anyway I started looking through the seller's feedback of the tons of people selling these and it is all GREAT...everyone gives positive feedback for these coupons. So I ended up buying a bunch of them because it is a good deal.

They arrived today and I decided to google the address that it says the Mcdonald's stores should send them to for reimbursement...The address is completely made up. There is no Dixon Minnesota and the zip code is for some random town in California. Anyway, before I bought these I emailed the seller and they said their company has a deal with Mcdonald's corporate to sell them and no one has had a problem using them and to get back to them if I did have any problems.

My guess is they are counterfeit but the great majority of Mcdonald's will accept them because they don't want a customer to throw a fit in the store. I am somewhat conflicted about what to do here.

lol, I also bought some sonic ones too. The seller of those said that no one has had a problem with them either (but I think those ones are legit).

What do you guys think?

Well it will only be a scam if they don't work...I guess? I will have to use the coupon and see what happens. I have 16 of them, lol. I doubt I will have a problem using them to be honest but I don't know.

Tons of people on ebay. If they work it is a great deal. I ended up getting each for a little less than 2 bucks and a double quarter pounder with cheese meal is something like 7 bucks. So that is quite the discount. I almost feel bad using them though because it is basically stealing from Mcdonald's because I know they aren't getting the money for that value meal back.

My wife runs another fast food restaurant and said if someone brought in a similar coupon she would honor it.

I mean the amount of food that gets made and thrown out at these place makes me not really care about it. But still, it is kind of stealing, which I'm not really down with.

I guess I will see. Whoever is making these coupons is making BANK though. It is like printing money. I almost want to contact Mcdonald's corporate but at the same time I don't. They have to already know about it though...how could they not. I am surprised they haven't contacted ebay about not being allowed to sell them.

There is a big market for it apparently. Also they sell free drink coupons for starbucks as well...which I think are also counterfeit.

The funniest thing is people actually sell coupons they get in the mail (like those inserts with a bunch of coupons from wendy's for free sandwiches if you buy a sandwich or something like that). I might start doing it because it is like free money, lol.

Reminds me of this guy on craigslist who was trying to rent and apartment. I said I was interested. He told me he was on a mission in Nigeria and to send the deposit there and he will send me the keys lol. Obviously at this point I know its a scam so I play along with the guy and tell him im about to send the $1500 deposit. He gave me his address in which I was to send the money. I revealed that he gave me the info and that he will be reported. Never heard back from the guy.
 
since when did Nigeria become the mecca of internet fraud? Did Jobs, Gates and Zuckerberg set up a secret Kabalah there that none of us know about?
