Anyone use any portable Vapes?
What are some of your favs and most renowned?
I had a first generation G-pen that worked ok, but nothing special.
Recently, I just got a Magic Flight Launch Box and it's amazing.

The only downside is it only vapes dry herbs and not concentrates.
Anybody have any experiences or recommendations for either herb and concentrate vaporizers?

Yes i do have magic flight and its really good plus you get a lifetime warranty

The ones I've used are little pens and use thc concentrates/oil. They are delicious, that's for sure.

I have a G-Pen, but I found the coil to be too delicate. bubble hash doesn't work (too much plant matter)....shatter doesn't work (sticks to the coil)....fuck it , so I never bothered replacing it and the pen is just collecting dust.

I've used a bunch of them a few years ago and thought they were alright but not going to replace my usual smoking methods. Are you familiar with the newer ones like Snoop's G-pen?

That's my same take on it. I wasn't a fan of the coils and they were too weak for me.
I had a buddy that showed me the most recent vape pens and it looked amazing. I've been out of the vape pen scene for a few years so I don't know what's good now.

What makes them better? I agree that they are too weak. If I want concentrates, I typically defer to nail+blowtorch, though a portable device that could safely get as hot would be nice.

My buddy is into the designer wax scene and showed me this coil powered pen, but it was STRONG. Like one of those modified ecigs strong. It produced huge clouds that I didn't think were possible from a portable.
I have the nail + blowtorch combo and I'm looking for a comparable portable that could deliver as good. Not sure if I'm asking for something unrealistic.

I'm going to Amsterdam next week so i'll look into picking one up.

They're quite expensive in Australia because we typically prefer the smoke methods.

I had one of those over the summer until some drug addict stole it from me.

Used the one in your pic and it was alright. Own another fairly expensive brand, ($200, forget the actual brand name) and it is about the same quality as the one in your pic. Been passed a pen type that only used oil, and it was a bit better.

When it comes to vaping I've yet to find a cordless one that can compare to a corded one.

Just a heads up, the vape in your picture - says to only use the battery that comes with it. They are like $20 batteries or some shit. My buddy has been using just regular batteries with his and says they work just as well.

That's the one I've used. It's definitely a newer one.

Thing looks like you rigged it up in your basement

You're probably thinking of the PAX ($200-$250)
It's an excellent dry herb vape but it's a bit expensive.
With the MFLB you can just get AA lithium-ion batteries and just strip them down and use them.

I just bought an Atmos Raw Vaporizer and it works great for dry herbal, wax and oil. The chamber is deep so you don't have to worry about baby hits and it heats up fast, has good battery life (I use it every day and only have to recharge every 3 days or so), USB charging. The only thing about the heating method is sometimes it heats up too fast and can burn the dry goods really fast causing a terrible taste, but if you use the glass screen they provide, it fixes it 100%. I recommend it, I've had 3 or 4 different THC pens and this one is by FAR the best.

Which model did you get?
I see a few different kinds on their website.

Just picked up a "Vapor daddy deluxe". Despite the mixed reviews seems to do pretty good from what I can tell.

The Atmos is great I've had one for a while now. I recently bought another one online for cheap but it turned out to be an imitation, so I have to be more careful next time. I exclusively smoke wax/shatter out of it and it works good for the most part.

Cloud pens are cheap and hit nice and G-Pens works great as well.

I feel like unless you have to smoke on the go, using a rig is always the best and most cost efficient way to go about it. Dabs just feel way better and vape pens can often be messy and/or break easily.

The Atmos jr is one of their cheaper models and it has worked great for me.

I also haven't hit a pen yet that compares to getting if off the nail. If you want to get close to that you will most likely need one of the the high end pens. Could be expensive.
