Oh I thought this post would be about his tax debt. I couldn't help but laugh hysterically at his post fight interview ranting about getting paid and spending all his money then having to pay tax on it later. I think I figured out how taxes worked sometime in my early teens. hahahahahaahahahaa

What Mike Perry doesn't understand is that he is considered as independent contractor in the UFC. Which means at the end of the year he doesn't get a W-2 form like most of the regular folks. Instead he gets a 1099-MISC form from the UFC which lists his gross income for the year and on which he will have to pay a hefty tax. What i would recommend to him is to make estimated tax payment 4 times a year and keep all expenses receipts somewhere in the folder so that he could write them off later. Expenses on his GF he cannot deduct. But fees for gym and travel(related to work) he can deduct.
