Make your picks! Who do you think is going to win the PFL finals in each division?
Personally, I have:

FW - Brendan Loughnane
LW - Gadzhi Rabadanov
WW - Shamil Musaev
LHW - Impa Kasangany
HW - Oleg Popov
WFW - Dakota Ditcheva

Paying one million to Gadzhi and Popov each seems like the worst use of money ever.

Also I am not high on Loughnane at all, I think Timur beats him easily.....in a unanimous decision

My list is very similar to yours so I'll just list who I'm rooting for.

FW - Brendan Loughnane
LW - Brent Primus
WW - Shamil Musaev
LHW - Dovletdzhan Yagshimuradov - Legit prediction to win
HW - Valentin Moldavsky

WFW - Lol wasn't really paying attention to this division but Lez Carmouche, I guess.

Russian journalist from vestnik mma reported that Moldavsky is out with injury and replaced by Vassell.

I'm very high on Loughnane and think that him and Khizriev is a tricky fight to call. I think both are competitive with virtually any 145er in the world. That said I am picking Khizriev because as good as Brendan is at defending takedowns Khizriev is exceptional at setting them up and will get him down when he's expecting an exchange.

Here are my picks

Santos
Goltsov
Yags
Musaev
Primus
Khizriev

He's just the best fighter there in my opinion. He's well rounded and adaptable. I think if he was to lose it'd be in the first round if Wilkinson can stay on his bike, stay upright and outpoint him.

I was going to say he's only lost to Corey Anderson in the better part of a decade which reminded me he lost to Albrektsson. They're really doing Karl dirty for some reason. He'd have been a perfectly logical pick for a spot in the season but no. They booked him in a non tournament, presumably quasi alternate bout against Andrew Sanchez but they needed an opponent for Sadibou Sy after his opponent dropped out and they gave the fight to Sanchez. Why I have no idea considering Karl is a better fighter with a better resume. Has a win over Vadim Nemkov for goodness sake.

Interesting. I think Impa is one of if not the best fighter in the PFL so I still think he’ll win but I’ll be interested to see!

Recency bias?

Wilkinson looked bad against Silveira.

Silveira already lost to Impa and likely loses to Impa.

Impa got his ass whooped against Nedoh before the miraculous turnaround. Did you watch this fight?

Yag has looked flawless in his 2 PFL fights, showing off explosive striking and serviceable wrestling. He has clear physical advantages over Wilkinson, and he's at worst 50/50 against Impa.

Keen to see what happens, I’m still going to pick Impa for bragging rights. The Nedoh fight didn’t to me suggest that Impa looked bad more that Jakob looked fantastic and showed real potential.

Lol two guys from the same team suddenly having one of them pull out
I said in the pbp 100% chance of a pullout.

I'm going to be wild and say Tim wins HW anyways!
Santos Wfw
Wilkinson LHW
Musaev WW could be any Russian I tho
Dufont LW
Khrizriev FW

hopefully some bellator people and fighters that are exciting that get finishes. so pretty much, that exact opposite of what's happening now.

Can't say I agree. I think he's improved from his UFC run and it's not just him fighting weaker fighters (he isn't even, it's not like he faced top UFC guys) but I don't think he's got the well rounded and adaptable game that Yagshimuradov does. I can see any of the 4 guys winning tbh, but my pick is Yags. Impa's a great athlete with power. That can get you far in this sport but I do think in most cases a highly skilled albeit less athletic fighter will win the day more often than not.

edit: Originally my second last sentence started with "he's", not "Impa's" though he was who I was referring to the whole time.
