Rewatched the fight and man Barboza was on fire that night. Pettis was game and showed great toughness eating heavy left hooks and inside leg kicks. Pre-Holloway Pettis had great heart and durability.

That was a great performance by Barboza. In hindsight, I feel like Pettis may have just underestimated him a lot in preparing for that fight. Since both guys' careers have somewhat stalled atm, it would be interesting to see how a rematch would go at LW.

Barboza in a striking match against someone who's not a pressure fighter is a beast. Pettis was tailor made to lose.

Im not seeing any version of Pettis beating Barboza. Striking is Pettis thing, Barboza is the better striker.

Sure Pettis has great subs but he ain't taking Barboza down.

Barboza is like the worst style matchup Pettis can ask for.

Awesome fight. Matchups like that is what we need

Barboza was so sharp that night. Great counter left hooks and he destroyed the legs. I wish I bet on this fight as I knew Barboza was a nightmare for him.
