people who always make excuses

anyone been around or known someone who always has a reason why something didn't happen, why they didn't get where they were supposed to, do what they were supposed to or have the life they were supposed to.

some people no matter what just can't acknowledge they weren't good enough, didn't work hard enough, didn't do enough or whatever the case maybe; in any situation their first and last statement is what someone else did or didn't do that led to the life they have, it could be their boss, their parents, wife, kids, friends, etc.

when did it become so popular to not be aware of the role you play in your fortunes and misfortunes.

i used to know people like this.

they were all losers.

i don't hang around losers anymore.

i won't flame you, but i do think that you're wrong.

big nog simply tells the truth. he gives other fighters credit when they beat him. but if he was injured, then he was injured. and if he's asked, then he should say it.

it doesn't remove the fact that the moment you step inside the cage, the issues that fighters have go out the window.

It's not so much Nog making excuses as is it his nuthuggers making excuses for him. Seriously, he could fight Mir again and lose a 30-26 decision and his nuthuggers would claim he would win the fourth fight.

My old roommate. Everything was just the result of unlucky circumstances if you asked him. He had scumbag friends at our apartment all the time, up until 2 or 3 in the morning smoking weed and drinking. Then when neighbors would complain, it was just, "Aw, man. I didn't know ___ was going to get drunk and start yelling off the balcony at 2:30 am. It's not my fault." Yet, no matter how many times I told him not to allow them over, he would. And the same thing would happen every time.

Crashed his car while driving high - "Dude, I hydroplaned. There was nothing I could do." You probably could have been driving sober so that you would actually be paying attention to the massive flooding on the street, and slow down before hitting them.

God, that guy was the biggest dumbshit ever.

I think most people have luck and bad luck. So the most important part of succes in most peoples lives is themselves. So in my opinion people should take responsibility of their lives and stop blaming what they can't control.

I'll post in this thread later on, I've gotta go return some video tapes.

i give explanations and my unrivaled work ethic disqualifies them from being excuses.
