Paulo Costa’s beautiful head

Any idea why it went bald so young?

So young? He's 32, loads of Brazilians were shaving their heads by then due to baldness in MMA and obviously tons of pedestrians without PED history do so too.

“Due to baldness in MMA”

It’s hard to comprehend what these fighters go through for our entertainment

Artificial testosterone disrupts the hormonal balance, one of these effects is the increase of dht. Dht is primary hormone responsible for male pattern baldness.

Too much testosterone and acai berries. And then he got scammed by hair transplant doctors who are ironically bald themselves

Most medical professionals know that going through with multiple hair transplants along with taking prostate and heart medication for the rest of your life to keep a head of hair that's never going to be as good as it once was before you began balding isn't really worth it. Ontop of that, not everyone is a good candidate for transplants, diffuse thinners or people who are too far along in the balding process can't really he helped much. Costas hair still looks horrible, thin and wispy like cotton candy.

i wonder if man weaves are allowed in the octagon

Tbf his hair looked like shit in the Romero fight and he was 28 back then. He should have shaved it and not get into this hair transplant stuff at all. Clearly didn't help lol.

Increased testosterone only quickens the balding process, for those who don't have the gene or have only late onset baldness/don't bald much, it isn't going to wreck your hair. Look at Wonderboy, his dad and his bro...dude could smoke crack and do all the TRT, his hair wouldn't fall out. Dober probably doesn't have the gene either.

I've never understood men's fear of getting bald, unless you have exceptionally weirdly shaped head.
