Wow! Does that look like a FLAMING PIECE OF SHIT or what?

I watched the preview trailer and actually got excited thinking maybe Leo would stop playing the same Jordan Belfort character for the first time since that movie came out. Nope, same old screaming Leo, just with a different clothes and haircut.

Big surprise, it's woke too. And did Benicio did the same cringey scene he did in the Guardians of the Galaxy 2 movie? Hard pass.

I'm going to keep being my party pooper self and say that this is another new movie that looks terrible. Granted, I've never been a PTA fan - IMO Magnolia is his only truly great film and every film of his since There Will Be Blood has been worse than his last - but even from the trailer it looks like one of those obnoxious films that can't decide on its tone between intensity and jocularity with the result being just a largely dull and unfunny sub-Tarantino/sub-Coen brothers turd. Here's to hoping I'm wrong...

We shall see.

But I can't help but chuckle at the fact that it looks like a dark comedy lampooning a militant leftist militia and people are already decrying it as woke.

No, you got it, it sucked
I rewatched it after people on here were raving about it, god it was boring and too long. The only part that sticks in my mind was when the main character said he loved to see other people fail, that was about the most true to life thing I've ever seen in film in terms of my experience, something, an admission none of us like to admit but we all feel on some level, no one wants to put something like that into words. Outside of that? I didn't get it.

Oh man!!!

Am I going to actually go to the theater for this one? I might.

PTA, Leo, BDT.... yeah, me likey
