"A pair of light heavyweights have been teed up for the UFC’s return to London."

"Paul Craig (15-4-1 MMA, 7-4-1 UFC) is set to take on Nikita Krylov (27-8 MMA, 8-6 UFC) in March, the promotion announced Friday. They’ll meet at the UFC’s planned Fight Night card March 19 in London."

"Craig is unbeaten inn his past five fights. Only a split draw with former champion Mauricio Rua in November 2019 stands between him and a perfect stretch the past two and a half years. His four wins in that run, though, all are stoppages – including when he put Rua away with a barrage of strikes that had “Shogun” tapping in their November 2020 rematch."

"Krylov will be looking to get back in the win column and will be fighting for the first time in more than a year. In February 2021, he dropped a decision to Magomed Ankalaev in his return after 11 months away following a win over Johnny Walker."

With the addition, the UFC London lineup now includes:
  • Alexander Volkov vs. Tom Aspinall
  • Arnold Allen vs. Dan Hooker
  • Jake Hadley vs. Allan Nascimento
  • Luana Carolina vs. Molly McCann
  • Cody Durden vs. Muhammad Mokaev
  • Makwan Amirkhani vs. Mike Grundy
  • Jack Shore vs. Timur Valiev
  • Shamil Abdurakhimov vs. Sergei Pavlovich
  • Gunnar Nelson vs. Claudio Silva
  • Cory McKenna vs. Elise Reed
  • Paul Craig vs. Nikita Krylov

Paul Craig has been looking better each fight and I think he'll get another finish. Krylov is too hold/cold for me to confidently pick.

Love it, rooting for Craig as usual but I don't see his subs working on Krylov.

Would love to see Craig get another W and maybe get a crack at fighting someone in the top 5 before age starts to catch up with him.

Good addition, very solid card!

Krylov is a danger, Craig has been giving off some serious Frank Mir vibes with those heavy submissions.

34 isn't too old for LHW. Hell look at the top 5, including the 42 year old champ and 38 year old former champ

True, but Craig has said that he is retiring when he turns 35, which is in November. If that's true he probably has one more fight after this one.

Didn't know this, that's disappointing to learn. He's ranked and in career best form, he should fight until his next loss

I doubt anyone thought Anthony Smith or Thiago Santos would challenge for the LHW title, so Craig should keep going

I like Craigs durability and ground game. He will dominate if it goes to ground.

I'd like to see him fight for a couple more years, but he seems pretty sure about it. Things might change between now and then. If he wins two more he will be in discussions for a title shot. That might persuade him to stay.

I think Craig by sub.

I think Krylov has improved a lot too since his grappling became more prolific (dude used to get really sloppy). Problem for him is that Craig bread and butter is exactly that.
