Paddy is currently recovering from ankle surgery. He stated post surgery he has been gradually losing weight and hopes to fight 3 times a year again soon. Pimblett admittedly has eaten more than 8000 calories when not fighting and goes above 200 lbs. He hopes to not return to that lifestyle.

“After every fight, I’ve just ballooned up and started eating 8,000 calories a day. Now I probably won’t do that. It’s mad that people keep asking me, ‘Who are you fighting and who do you want when you come back?’ I don’t know. I’m not going to be back for like six months, and as you know the amount of change that can happen in six months in fighting, it’s ridiculous.”

“After a fight, I’ve got a bad eating disorder. At the minute, I’m not too bad because obviously I had surgery. I went to America and got fat again, then came back and had surgery. And after the surgery, my weight has just gradually come down. Now I’m just walking around at about (185 pounds) and not really watching what I’m eating. I’m just hobbling around at that weight, which is nice. I’ve plateaued around this weight. Hopefully I’ll never go above (200 pounds) again.”

…and with that non-8000 calorie diet Pimblett is born..

8000 are rookie numbers. He's actually going to increase his calorie intake to

Okay, so...7,995 calories, yeah? Notice he isn't giving a rough estimate on the max calories he'll consume a day.

I remember when Paddy would post here back when he first got his UFC contract, then the toxic members ran him off…

Unfortunately, we’ve seen this happen with numerous pro-fighters quite frequently over the years posting here… Is abnormally normal

some of the coolest fighters have posted.
its actually shameful how many solid posting fighter have been ran off by the troll squads
by far my least favorite part of the community

kindness is free. cost nothing to say hey thanks for posting
and costs even less to just ignore said poster if you dislike said fighter.
but ffs even if you are not a fan
any fighter posting or giving sherdog the time of day should be praised by all of us
we are fans of the sport, and its a rare occasion fighters interact with us fans

was just wondering about paddy posting the other day. But every time someone fights all the trolls immediately after
such and such mops paddy blah blah then im like oh yea, thats why

you triggered me well lol

The irony of the type of people who post in an mma forum shaming someone for their weight and eating habits is not lost on me

Vegas (edit: the Vegas Strip) is such a disgusting cesspool of the lowest caliber of American culture. I swear, outside of the fine dining restaurants, salads don't exist there, but you can obtain a burger or a hotdog or a tall can of beer pretty much within arms distance, anywhere within the city.

That said, off the strip, Weiss Deli.... holy shit. Best jewish deli outside of LA, for the west coast.

While I understand your point, I consider it a mark of character that no celebrity competitors can withstand the toxic nature of sherdog. If I really wanted to speak to any pro fighters from around the world, I'd just instagram them pictures of my junk like any normal, respectable member of society.
