Diddy’s clearly an abuser and a terrible person. No debate there. But I don’t buy the idea that he “got off easy because he’s rich.” Look at the cops storming his place in body armor with assault rifles. Look at prosecutors trying to make it into a RICO/trafficking case. That’s not soft treatment.

well he didnt get found guilty of the more serious charges. apparently 2 counts of 'transportation to engage in prostitution', whos range of punishment is 0-10 years.

i think some people have an outsized idea of what prison terms look like. most people probably think murder = life in prison. but the minimum for second degree murder in the most populated state, california, is 15 years. and the state with the lowest minimum, montana, is at 2 years.
