Overeem was never a great fighter

Yes, Ubereem was something special. One of the greatest fighters we've seen. But the Regular Overeem wasn't a great fighter at all. He was skilled and he was game but he wasn't great.

Overeem is one of the most dangerous and well rounded HW's of all time.

He was a little chinny but otherwise and absolute monster of a glass cannon.

This seems like some sort of cope.
 
He was a good fighter but never good enough to be the best.

Reem is one of the only fighters to actually be more successful off the juice. He went 1-2 as Ubereeem in the UFC, viciously KO'd in both of those losses. 11-6 off the juice, with about three different title runs and a title fight in that run. Outside of Rothwell, Reem only lost to top guys.

So no TS, you're wrong on all accounts.

You posted his time at MW followed by him far out of his prime yet still top 10 in the Ultimate Circus, while skipping all of his wins.

I posted gifs from his career outside of the Uber years. I don't know if I've seen another fight get ko'd more than him. It's kind of jarring when you put them all together.

You posted some gifs outside of those years.

If you were honest, you would have also posted all of his wins. He has almost 70 fights in MMA alone. You should actually watch them.
 
"Great" is subjective term. Reem isn't the best of all time, but if he wasn't a great fighter, known world wide, this thread could make sense.

WTF, maybe the TS beat 'Reem and then he wasn't bowed down to.

Ubereem only had one fight in the UFC against Brock Lesnar. Regular Overeem has been ko'd like 15 times.
 
Join date checks out. Overeem is one of the greatest heavyweights in MMA history.

False, Ubereem appeared once and only once in the UFC. Show me another fight in which he remotely resembled the beast that demolished Brock. If memory serves, he received a retroactive suspension for elevated T and the boards damn near blew up when he showed up 18 pounds lighter and considerably softer for the Bigfoot fight.
 
He wasn't a dominant fighter like a lot of the "greats"

But he was a live dog vs any fighter he ever faced at any point in his long career, which is pretty damn great
 
I loved watching Overeem fights. He either finished or got finished. K1 heavyweight grand prix that he won was outstanding. My favorite heavyweight of all time.
 
Funny how most of those gifs you posted are of him losing to some of the best fighters on the planet
