I just realised I missed Pitt's name when I picked:

I think Hopkins and Williams are locks
Depp played so many iconic roles
1 from Fassbender, Pitt and Hoffman

I know most will have Brando or Olivier. But I just haven't seen enough of their movies i guess

williams is great but he just can’t stack up here. fasbender is going to end up very high though. he’s just great. doesn’t have the resume of these guys yet.

oh yeah. absolutely a great. he’s just up against all time greats. on a ranking tier i’d say he’s an a. s tier is people who built it and who anything they do you come out to watch it. cavill is in the mix too but again just not long enough of a career yet. love it so far

Feel like Cavill is in that group like Connery (possibly Newman) Cruise, John Wayne, The Rock etc, awesome movie stars - charismatic presences who are great fun to watch and dominate the screen. But are basically just themselves in every movie and no real "acting". (Not saying these guys are all the same level, just all are more movie stars than actors).

Like all of them and great to watch.

But feel some of the others we discussed above are better at actually acting.

Both types are awesome to watch.
