De Niro has acted like such a cunt in recent years I'm unable to fairly judge his acting, so Pacino it is.

That sucks, I try to separate the persona outside of acting from his acting abilities. That's what I do. Yes De Niro is weird, but the guy is a genius actor without a doubt.

I'm aware of his filmography. His work in Taxi Driver alone is top tier stuff. The Deer Hunter, Raging Bull, he has apex filmography. The one I think doesn't get mentioned enough is Angel Heart. The "I know who I am" at the end is a wild twist. He gets worked over psychologically in that film worse than Raging Bull.

I agree. Ol Bob used to be one of my favorite actors, but he has approached Alec Baldwin levels of needing to know his place.

Anyways, Bob is a fantastic actor and has way more memorable characters and better movies, imo.

Pacino has had some bangers, but Bob's roles and movies have been bigger, including Heat, when they shared the screen.

I feel Bob has a bigger range as well, he has done great in comedy (Dirty Grandpa, Fockers, etc.)
