News Ortega fight moved to LW this Saturday

There's no weigh in video for Shanghai but I saw that weigh ins started in China and everyone has weighed in besides Brian and Aljo. Some non-media accounts on Twitter are saying Ortega fell ill cutting weight.

Anyone have insight on this? I didn't trust Ortega to make the fight, I don't know why he agreed to another 145 fight when he ruined the first Diego matchup.

Hoping it's not true but I have a feeling we lost the only interesting fight til Paris.

Yup I saw the weigh in results on the UFC site and a few others, no official accounts mentioning Ortega falling ill yet but it seems pretty obvious something happened.

Good news Aljo, it's no longer a 5 rounder.

Bad news is, you can put a fork in Ortega. Fighting once a year almost every year for the last 6 years+, the division has passed him by

And now he can't even guarantee he can make weight and compete even on one-time-anually schedule.
Hope it's not true but Ortega has a history of this kinda thing

Weigh ins are usually a day and a half in advance. Right now, it's 10am Friday in China so that's when weigh ins usually happen. The fight is happening US time from like 2am to 8am range Saturday (which will be evening over there)

It's almost impressive how inactive he's become. I'm betting the UFC were fuming at Yair for fumbling that fight.
