Not really, there are always questions about fighters coming off a long layoff. GSP was a pick ‘em against Bisping, which sounds crazy in hindsight.

Now that we‘ve seen that Jones still looks good, some questions have been answered.

I expect both the public and sharps to be on Jones, although the public hates laying big numbers, so the betting disparity won’t be as much as it was against Gane(Jones received 85% of the bets on some books).

After watching Gane's performance I don't know how Stipe can't have a better showing. Stipe isn't great at any one thing but his solid skills in every area could be more troublesome for Jones.

He'll look slow and he'll plod around flicking loose jabs/eyepokes and the occasional oblique kick. It's exactly what he's done for years.
