Somewhere in America you have Dana White, Joe Lauzon, Kenny Florian, John Howard, Karyn Bryant and probably more getting ready to cheer on the greatest American Football team of the last 20 years.

A dynasty that has been created off the back of the most unexpectedly great Quarterback's performance and leadership - in Tom Brady. Partnered with the best coach the NFL has ever seen Bill Belichick - will take on a great offensive side in the Atlanta Falcons.

Quite frankly, I have a soft spot for the Falcons, and was cheering them on to win the NFC and get to the Bowl. This has the potential to be one of the best SuperBowl games we've seen.

Inevitably this thread will be moved/deleted or probably destined for Wasteland status, but fuck it.

Got the snacks out, booked the day off work tomorrow, ready.

I love both sports, and have actually been to the Bernabeu to watch Real and Atletico.

You don't have to shit all over a sport because you don't watch it.

It's a great sport, much like Football.

Me talking about American Football is not me shitting on any other sport.

Yeah, it's so frustrating when you're watching sport and then there's a break and your just ready for some edgy, offensive ads, but you just get like some boring deodorant advert and it doesn't even say anything edgy and then you aren't even in the mood for the rest of the game.

I kid. I don't care enough to watch. What is amusing is that people normally try their best to avoid ads at all costs (ad blockers, DVRs, etc.) but they'll gladly tune in to watch them even if they don't care at all about the game.

There was a cool study done.

There was a random group of people taken in by scientists.

Took the Superbowl commercials and played them in between regular programming and the people thought they were meh.

Regular commercials were played during the Superbowl slots, and people found them to be a lot more funny.
