Aug 2nd. Folayang vs Alvarez. Haggerty vs Jitmuangnon. Johnson vs Wada. Best event ONE has had in a while imo. What are your thoughts on this event?

Rodtang/Haggerty is one of the best matchups this year in any combat sport

Banario shoudn't be fighting nastyukhin, it should be sexton if tynanes is unavailable, the biggest mismatch in this card

Its no Dubois/Gorman, tbf
Even within muay thai it's not the most remarkable fight. Sure it's marketable and exciting but Haggerty hasn't proven himself yet. It's not a very meaningful fight in muay. Probably most main events at bigger stadium cards are more important than this matchup.

I dont regard ONE as actual muay thai personally, the gloves cage and scoring change it too much. It just has a lot of great ingredients.

Why does James Nakashima look white?

He proved himself in his last fight, where he beat Sam-A and won the belt.

Yes , although admittedly his length played a big factor in the fight.
Only thing he proved is he can beat an out of prime, smaller Sam-A. To be considered to be participating in the best matchup, shouldn't you be a top fighter? He is certainly not a bad fighter, but not even close to being a top fighter in his division at the moment. If he can beat beat evenly sized top fighters then we can talk.

This is going to be a lot of fun, I rarely get to catch One these days, but I will make sure I see this somewhere.

Might need help finding where though, last card I watched I had to watch at work while no one was looking
