Thanks everybody for your feedback. This is a longer round on the heavybag. Interesting to see fatigue really coming in.

No sound in the second one. You can check out the video I posted

I´m a bit better now, this was 3 months ago, shape did go up a bit.

I got such a virus and cold right now, disgusting. Gonna miss training and sparring. Really disgusting. Smoking cigarettes feels like hell, only smoked 2 today.

You got pretty long limbs, Brasilian style, I got the Stipe Miocic style long torso, wide back and short arms legs.

You look 184-187 cm ? Maybe 87 kg.

Life in Brasil for you looks like it was somewhat chill out like your effort on the bag, you say you´re old, probably my age, and your hair is full full. Mine is half full half empty and that is after I already done a procedure. Your hair is a win. All that Brasilian sunlight and fresh fruit.

ah those fuckin videos, why only the one has no sound? wtf??

I'm significantly smaller than what it looks like in the video apparently, I'm like 178cm, ~72 kg. 38 years old. Hair looks full but it's really thin at some spots lol. I am pretty chill but life for most people here is not like that.

Your bagwork looks fun. You probably have much less experience than I do but your high kicks are remarkably fluid for your build. But your stance is all over the place and there's no hip engagement in your kicks (tbf didn't look like you were trying to blast those kicks). With your build you're probably better off doing a straight up pressing boxing style with disguising low kicks here and there and sneaking high kicks when you're in the proper spot.

and legit lol at the smoke commentary.

the kicks do look soft but they don´t sound soft. I´m a fat boy so to say, 182 cm 111kg, so I look slow but if you use headphone and turn the volume all the way up you will realise the strikes are hard. I also think youtube sound and visual quality is quite low compared to the original recording, if you are a small uploader channel, but you can hear it if you turn the volume up and use headphones. And yeah I don´t rotate much the hips. Just my style I guess. If you put your whole hip into it, it is a stronger strike, but don´t you fall into it ? Like if you miss or if you get blocked, aren´t you more "out of position" the more you wind your body into it. And doing these less commited strikers is also a bit harder to read, like Pereiras calf kick. The power is still there, cause I know how ot throw them like that but have power in it. I never chose to kick like this it just came naturaly. I learned boxing technique from the ground up and learned kicking myself cause there was no kickboxing school near by. Early did 3 months of mma but the trainer was more a grappling expert so he didn´t comment on my kicking technique. Then later down in life I mean big gyms in Germany they just have everybody work, learning by doing, you can ask questions, but you just do the strikes the trainer doesn´t go on technique speeches, he just makes us work hard, high pace and a lot of repetitions. In the end I learned how to kick myself, on a heavybag at home mostly. I did learn how to pivot and properly punch, and basically did the same thing mechanicaly just with my legs. I´m still trying to build my knees, elbows are simple to graps, but knees feel very short and are a strike I wanna learn to do good. However spamming knees on a bag is gassing me quiker than punches or kicks.

I might record another bag video in January or so.. I´m thinking I probably improved athletically. It´s about athletics, speed cardio power, to look impressive it´s the fitter more athletic you are. If you understand technique. But both comes from the same place. You train your technique and get more athletic when you throw hard. I also do S&C but yeah.

As for foot work I stance switch a lot and generally am entirely improvising and creative. I don´t follow rules, I test things out and build habbits. In fighting you get hit and that shows you if it worked or not. If you hit them or they hit you. Learning by doing. Best thing is to spam workouts and also sparring rounds. In huge amounts. Diet sleep lifestyle matters too and Strength cardio. But the more you train the better you get. Especially sparring rounds.

There is always a lot more to learn if you got your mind in the game, each training and hitting the bag shows you things every time. I don´t even use switch kicks a lot, I mostly kick with little to no wind up cause then people don´t see it. It depends there are many ways to skin a chicken and each one got pros and cons. Many ways to do many things in fighting, it is super detailed if you think about it. A lot of nuisances you are constantly changing as are you training partners. Your form is varying by the day, phisical, mental, technical.
