JimGunn: re glove touch prop

I saw an article (on MMA fighting???) where Nate said he kind of respects Conor in that he actually comes to fight whereas over the years MMA has slowly gotten worse with many guys not showing up to "really fight".

I am not sure if this afticle effected the prop but honestly I still think "no touch" is one of the safest bets on the card. I watched some of Conor's fights last night and when it comes to touch Conor is always so antagonistic and making weird faces and stuff. I hate to unload double digit units on a silly prop but I really really don't see a touch.

what do you mean? i saw a couple conor fights last night.. he touches gloves.. mendes.. brandao.. he touched..
 
starting to buy out of my gargantuan conor bet. i always planned to. +400 was minimum i wanted, got it, and i don't want to miss out on the opportunity. yea, it could keep climbing, but i'll live.

@JimGunn I was just gonna say this in regards to no touch being back down to -280. I also still see value in this though. Nate might be more cordial than usual in regards to Conor's style/demeanor, but once its fight time I think he'll leave that shit out of it. Still expect no glove touch

i agree, i still lean no glove touch, but i bought out of that, too ><
 
After watching more tape on both guys I think Conor destroys Nate. I don't know what took me so long to figure this out :(. Especially given Nate has such a short camp. I am not sure at what price I would start hitting Nate but its more than 4 to 1. I probably won't do much on this one.

My biggest bet is the "no touch". My fear with this prop is more how 5d grades it. For example, if Conor extends for the touch but Nate doesn't touch then is it void? hmmm I will just ride with it for now I guess.
 
Mark my words,they will touch gloves :)

Either that, or Conor will show him the middle finger

yes, because a Diaz-Tate parley while both under +300 seems like smart betting

They have to both touch gloves lol you'll win if Conor offers and Nate refuses

I watched Aldo and Poirier fights and he was antagonistic in both scenarios. He is kind of goofing around but I am pretty damn sure that won't play well with Diaz.

I just don't see these two trash talkers playing nice right before fight time. After the fight sure all hugs and kisses but before.... I don't see it.

By the time the fight rolls around I think Conor will really be under Nate's skin
 
I'm kind of expecting Conor to extend his hands and Nate to mean mug him and back off. That will cash for the no touch prop.

Conor will offer his left glove, and Nate will flip him off.

After the fight is over, Conor will thank Nate for stepping up on short notice and taking the fight, and he'll give Nate praise and say he's a good fighter but that "I'm just on another level," or something to that effect.

I'm all for the lotto. I bet $20 on Holly to beat Meisha, at +900 odds it seemed like a miracle to most people. Placing money alone on either Meisha or Diaz @ +300 didn't seem like smart bets vs value, so i went ahead and stepped it up a notch.

Yeah I hear ya. Diaz actually made me some nice coin vs MJ. The odds were so far out of whack for that fight. I put a dub on Reem same card. Honestly should have bet more but I was afraid of dat chin. Still turned out to be an incredible evening.

Alright, so i'm usually not the betting type and I have to say my knowledge in this area is very limited. So i was wondering what you guys are thinking about this parlay. Now, I really do not expect to win this ( especially unconvinced of Miesha beating holm) but I am Curious about what this community thinks about it.

P.s. I am in no way claiming this is a betting slip, haven't posted a bet yet.
