As a fan watching do you prefer to watch a fight in the UFC Octagon or the Bellator ring?

Octagon, but smaller. Ring doesn't suit mma very well.

I always loved the smaller octagon that they used in the WEC. A ring is terrible for MMA, and a squared cage isn't much better.

I prefer a big 6 or 8 sided ring. No more wall walking, if they end up in the ropes then restart them in the center.

I always liked the ring better but if its going to be a cage I prefer Bellators round cage over ufcs 8 sided or Strikeforces old 6 sided cages

I think TS is talking about Bellators cage which he calls it a ring because it's shaped like a circle.

Idk, I guess they both have the same amount of effectiveness, although UFCs octagon is better for cutting guys off and turning guys around in the clinch.

I like the one they used in Shootbox where there was a big ass ring with no ropes.

Basically you're not gonna see someone shoot for a TD, unless they wanna take a fall lol.

They should make a cage as a boxing ring (square)

I've thought of this idea in the past. There would just have to be quick separations by the ref if the fighters get stuck in the corner in an action-less clinch. I think overall that a square fighting area would promote more action.
