The king of NY vs Don Makaveli. Which music would you listen and who do you think was more talented?

- Flow

- Lyrics

- Freestyle

- Better songs

- Superior albums

Which one had the better peak?

Post and pole, n00b.

Never was a fan of 2pac. Too much singing and not nearly enough raw rhymes.

I don't have platinum.. I think a discussion can be done without it though.

First off, f*** your bitch and the click you claim
Westside when we ride come equipped with game
You claim to be a player but I f***** your wife
We bust on Bad Boy n***** f***** for life
Plus Puffy tryin' ta see me weak hearts I rip
Biggie Smalls and Junior M.A.F.I.A. Some mark-ass bitches
We keep on comin' while we runnin' for yo' jewels
Steady gunnin, keep on bustin at them fools, you know the rules
Lil' Ceaser, go ask ya homie how I leave ya
Cut your young ass up, leave you in pieces, now be deceased
Lil' Kim, don't f*** around with real G's
Quick to snatch yo' ugly ass off the streets, so f*** peace
I let them n***** know it's on for life
So let the Westside ride tonight
Bad Boy murdered on wax and killed
Fuck wit' me and get yo' caps peeled, you know, see
Grab ya glocks, when you see Tupac
Call the cops, when you see Tupac, uh
Who shot me, but ya punks didn't finish
Now ya bout to feel the wrath of a menace
N****, we hit em' up

Pac was a poet that could take you into the utter despair and hopelessness of California ghetto life one moment and then uplift you the next moment as he spoke of the beauty and cherished memories of the very same place
Dude was truly a master with a voice so powerful that it captivated a nation, he couldve been so much more if he was just strong enough to break the cycle of ignorance of self destruction
Instead hes just another tragic statistic

Biggy's flow does more for me than Pac's writing.. I'm a style over substance guy sometimes.

- Flow - Biggy

- Lyrics - Tupac

- Freestyle - Tied - Biggy edge

- Better songs - Biggy

- Superior albums - Tied - Pac edge

Both died wayyyy too young and never got to show all they had to offer. I'm going with Tupac: he got a lot done in a short space of time and had the ability to tell diverse stories in a personal and affecting way. Such a shame he threw it all away trying to be a gangbanger.

Biggie's first album had an interesting concept to it too. You gotta wonder what he would have gone on to do, given time.
