Anyone watching this show? I think it’s hilarious and ridiculous, definitely over the top though. It’s a particular brand of humor, to be sure, but if you’re looking for something light to unwind with, check it out. Not with the kids though.

the first or second episode gave me a few chuckles, but after that it was hard to believe it was actually trying to be funny.

the actor slave story line was a big miss for me, and it dragged so many episodes that it killed the show.

Aye if I blaze, late at night it's worth it!

I tried one episode. Nope! Not good.
But maybe it's my fault.
I cannot laugh at comedies anymore. Movies, tv series....

Shit was fucking hilarious. I hate Ohrm so much but he’s such a little prick that it’s funny as hell. I was bummed when I seen there was so few episodes.

They are doing a third season.

Fun fact. I did a couple of days filming for this show as an extra. I was a bloodied corpse one day and then a slave in chains in the marketplace the next. Still haven't seen it.

Edit: found a pic of me made up on the first day :)

I think it’s hilarious, my wife hates it though. Kind of a dryer Monty Python with a lot of satire thrown at the Vikings tv show.

Where do they film this show?

Good show. I don't think the humor is anything to write home about, but the show is entertaining and well written enough, that it doesn't necessarily have to rely on constant gags. The well defined characters make the show, and everything just kind of falls into place. I guess what I'm trying to say is that even if you're not busting a gut, you'll still get something out of it.

Another plus is it having half hour episodes. I'm becoming a bigger fan of that format for these serialized shows. With an hour, you gotta be flawless, and its tough not to write some filler in there. Half hour shows just have a nice and easy flow to everything, and its easier to stay focused. Makes for great binge watching.

Realistic armour for the period also.

Pretty much my thoughts as well. Thought it was kind of funny but wasn’t something that really grabbed me. I can see why some people would like it and some wouldn’t.

His dumbness kills me. He was unknowingly married to one woman, got another woman “pregnant “ and was engaged to a third woman all at once.
Or his talk about thinking about big things where he thinks about literally large objects.

So just found it on netflix

Here I am corpsed up at the front of the screen :D

And now miraculously reborn as a slave in the market

nice one mate, what part of scotland was it?

Was up near Callander the days I was there. Typical Scotland ... bloody cold and pissing it down first day and got baked in the sun most of the day the next.
