I've been talking to a few different guys in the gym and they say that this stack of the CE2 creatine and NO2 hemodilator is great for adding muscle and strength. Has anyone tried it? Advice?

Creatine is good. You are right about that much. NO2? I don't think it does anything, but hey-- there are some people who think it "gives you a pump" so whatever.

Martin, see the thread if you haven't already where we were discussing NO. I made some interesting posts there although the information is currently incomplete because of my lack of time to research what I've been wanting to.

KK, I agree that if you are a pro or get it for free, or at a serious discount, are a billionaire, etc.-- go for it. As far as we know, it can't hurt you. I'm not saying it's totally worthless (although I used to, lol). The reason I have changed my mind, is because there are many people whom I respect that have come out and said that, essentially, "it may help some people in area x, though not everyone." So... while it may not be a total money flush, it's sill not a priority purchase for 95% of atheletes (imho).

Having said that... although I have never used it, I have heard good things about NOxplode. Mostly from BB'ers, but still, that sort of counts for something as these guys are very serious BB'ers that know thier "sport."

****sorry, I couldn't resist the last jab*** Sorry BB'ers. :D

Well I think in that thread linked within the thread I linked (lol), there's enough information about Arginine itself that it may provide benefits enough to warrant it's use for healthful purposes, but not at all for that "perpetual pump" garbage. Although there's two main problems with that:

- Prices. This is a supplement where companies seem to REALLY ass-rape people. Next time I see the biochemist supplier we know at my store (John, the owner of Xtreme Labs who custom designs supplements for Pro Athletes I mentioned in the Supplement News thread) I'll ask him about the baseline raw materials market prices of Arginine, and formulation of AKG. Because that's where the question would be answered.

- The same problem you said, that there's not enough blanket results to verify it's use in regular hobbyists. If a guy is spending his own money, I usually steer them away from NO producst. If a Pro is spending his Promoter's money, well then buy all the damn NO products you can. lol

Hey I respect those guys' work-ethics. I watched a Ronnie Coleman training video once. The monotony of his workdays made me dizzy. How he endures it is amazing.

However, I've recently had TONS of conversations with a physiologist friend about caffeine. Caffeine vasodilates to skeletal muscle. That shit about it being a vasoconstrictor is misinformation. It vasoconstricts to involuntary muscle, in the digestive tract, and in the brain but that's specifically because of epinephrine release and which receptors are stimulated and why. Depending on where it is in the body (like the digestive tract) it'll vasoconstrict to save blood during digestion. But this is a function of the relationship between epi and receptors, not that "caffeine vasoconstricts". To skeletal muscle, it vasodilates.

Moral? There's a SHITLOAD of caffeine in NO-Xplode. Combine that with the Arginine AKG, and the little bit of creatine and you got yourself a nice little formula.
