Dude arguably beat Makhachev, at his own game too, and has a very impressive record and a better finish percentage. Haven’t seen a single thread about him, I’m sure there’s been some but the guy is flying completely under the radar at 155.

He is only 24 and showed a ton of potential, last fought in July and is due for a new opponent.

I say give him someone like Dan Hooker, I think he’s already top 10 material and a future title contender. Watch his fight against Islam, dude is very legit, just lacks a bit of experience.

He’s def legit, but Islam’s game is his game as well.......

He’s def a tough fight for anyone and is on the watch list.

definitley good but highly doubt he would ever break into the top ten there are levels to this shit, plus he is fighting on jan 23 against mini kelvin.

The Russian/Dagestani/Armenian only crowd will jump all over him soon enough.

The only reason people are hyped about this guy is because he took a massively overrated fighter to a decision

That fight was very clearly 2-1 in favor of Islam. He could win it with improvements but he lost that night. Dude is still very good with a high ceiling.
I was very impressed aswell but I honestly don't see how he wins a rematch. Keep in mind it will be a rematch for Islam as well and he'll have proper video to study on Arman and it wont be short notice. Islam attempted many weak subs that fight that gave Arman the opportunity to escape dangerous positions I dont think he will in a rematch. I think Islam will be more cautious in a rematch get him down ground and pound and only go for the sub when it presents itself and again wins a unanimous decision. It's still a fight tho so who knows.

I don't think he beat Makhachev, but i rate him super high.

The lad is young and insanely skilled; i don't know any other fighter at 155 who's as good in both wrestling and striking at the same time.

Is he booked? He hasn’t fought in what feels like ages. He put himself out there to fight RDA so if he isn’t scheduled for a fight he better get the finger out

He fought Davi Ramos in July so not that long ago, his next fight is against Nasrat Haqparast at UFC 257(Conor vs Dustin card)

unpopular opinion: Someone like Tsarukyan or Iaquinta should be the initial test for Chandler. The UFC and ESPN have made it clear they will be pitting him against top level lightweights right from the jump in order to maximize profits meanwhile Chandler is conveniently hopping over plenty of more deserving fighters. Tsarukyan is one of them
