Doesn't Morocco have a pretty decent history in kickboxing?

MMA really wasn't much of a thing at all in MENA even 10 years ago.

I remember some Algerian once asking me where he could fight, so I had a quick look and found absolutely nothing of substance at all in Algeria and West of Algeria. Egypt has a scene, and you can see that they've had a scene a bit longer than those other nations just watching PFL MENA.
 
It's indeed quite strange. They don't even compete in #PowerSlap despite the rest of the world participating in the Global Phenomenon which is capturing the hearts and spirit of billions of Viewers.
 
Amir Albazi is Iraqi
From 7yo live in Sweden and started with MMA there. In 2013 he moved to London and trained in London Shootfighters. To me its fascinating that he represents Iraq, but definitely better than Mr.Khamzat which changes country he represents like clubs...
