Those flamethrower things were so weird. I never sat near them, but even on practically the opposite side of the HP pavilion you could feel the heat without even seeing them go off.

We always assumed that people on that side of the arena were just being consumed by flames and collapsing over railings and whatnot.

You know it, girl! Nick’s Strikeforce run was awesome, just so many great fights and performances. I just posted the full Nick vs Scott Smith fight in that combo thread.

Never saw it live, of course, but there was something really well done about the production. I don't know if UFC borrowed all the talent after the acquisition, but it looked very professional, very clear and crisp. Bellator to this day just doesn't have it.

Anyway, unreal how at around the 2 minute mark, Shamrock looks like he's fighting for his life, meanwhile Nick seems to barely be doing anything.
