In my lifetime the one RB who made the biggest impact in his rookie season was The Kansas Comet Gale Sayers, he scored receiving, rushing, KO return, punt return he scored 22 TD's.

As a high school kid his 24-11 long jump led the nation.

His older bro Roger a world ranked sprinter.

Only Barry Sanders has a hightlight video with as many...........whoa~~~~~~~~

So it;s my Niners (part owner) vs the Bears, so what;s he do, how about FIVE TD;s.

So somebody comes up to coach Halas....he only needs one more to tie the NFL record, so he's put back in to return a punt, guess what? Yep a SIX TD day,

Brian Piccolo led the nation in rushing while at Wake Forest, how the Bears got him and Sayers, ? Yep, sad story. Oh yeah, also Dick Buckus in that draft.

I was a RB, and while you know the play/hole once you get the ball it's all instincts, you aren't plotting anythng you just react.

Vision is a big deal, and you do that with colors, you stay away from those enemy colors. All instinctive.

Hmmmmmm? Ok there is a situation you do plot, you are gone running down the sideline, cat has the angle and is gaining, when will you cut back.....ok that takes a plan.

When in HS the big star around here, Tulare Unions John Henry Hamilton, 5-10 240 pounds of grrrrrrrrr, cat threw the shot and ran a leg on their 4x1. after HS he played at COS (my school a JC) then off to Northern Arizona, ended up getting an NFL look with the Rams, nope.

I was born in Tulare but never lived there.

Reggie Bush played at Helix HS in San Diego his QB was Alex Smith. He was also a 10.4ish sprinter.

HS's in San Diego gave the NFL Bush, Marcus Allen, Terrell Davis, Arian Foster, Rashan Salaam, Ricky Williams

There is a HS video of Noel Devine and Tyreek Hill a HS running back similiar to the below.

Reggie Bush High School,

That Derrick Henry HS video is comical, think grown man vs little kids.

Teams with at least 5 notable QB's

They mention he never had a 1000 yard season, that was because he shared carries with stud fullback Rick Casares, he did have a 1000 yard season.

The first Thunder & Lighting were Bears The Galloping Ghost Red Grange and NWA Rasslin' Champ Bronko Nagurski

The first 1000 yard rusher a Bear, Beattie Feathers, averaged over 8 yards a carry.

Beattie Feathers

So 30 QB;s failed to make the Superbowl, more than half didn't make the playoffs, and those who did all but Maye and Darnold were losers.

Of those left only Maye in the MVP talk,

What more can be said, and..............................................................................................only 23.

How can anyone into pro football be critical of a cat that young doing what he has done? Think..............where will he be at 28?

Two receivers...

one has....

three pro bowls
336 receptios
5462 yards
51 TD

the other...

three pro bowls
410 receptios
7306 yards
59 TD

Guess which one is in the HOF and which isn't?

And they played around the same time

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~.
Joe Namath doesn't belong in the Hall of Fame, his numbers are horrendous.
Example....173 TD 220 INT
The whole thing is pretty much bullshit.
A running back with a 3.9 average per carry in the Hall of Fame, who was he related to?
Coachs need something else, the HOF should be players only.
There is a reason Paul Hornung was called The Golden Boy, he won a Heisman playing on a losing team with shit stats, and is in the HOF with shit stats,
